In this tutorial I am going to show you how to download the Bible on your laptop or PC, but this also works for Mac computers.
There are so many different bible versions and translations, so I am only going to be using two examples in this video, the King James Version and the English Standard Version.
METHOD 1: PDF Files
The first method is pretty simple, it’s by downloading PDF files. You’re going to need a PDF reader to view the files. If you don’t have one already, I recommend using Foxit Reader, it’s 100% free to download and use.
The bible PDF files are linked in below, so you can just go there to download them to your computer.
Then simply open the files with your PDF reader and you can start getting into the word.

PDF King James Version: https://www.holybooks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/The-Holy-Bible-King-James-Version.pdf
PDF English Standard Version: http://www.global-right-path.com/Downloads/BIBLE_English_Standard_Version.pdf
METHOD 2: Audio Bible
Next there’s the audio Bible. These are downloadable audio Bibles in MP3 format. As with the PDFs, the zip files containing the audio bible MP3 files are linked below.
So just go to the links below, click and download, and then extract the zip files to access the MP3s.
You can play them with any media player software, such as VLC Media Player. These can also be copied to your smartphone so you can listen to the Bible on the go.

METHOD 3: BibleGateway.com
Finally, the third method, which actually requires no downloads at all. Just go to BibleGateway.com and there you can read many different Bible versions, not just the KJV or ESV.
You can also listen to audio Bibles on BibleGateway.com. They are not available for every Bible though. But they do work for many including both the KJV and ESV.
